Wesley Clark on Abrams...
He's looking really good for a VP pick.

6. I think Clark is constantly underrated, so I'm not getting my hopes up much, BUT...
If it's not Clark, I really hope it's not Webb, nor any other of the Virginia politicians being discussed. They are perfect in Virginia, they are NEEDED in Virginia, and their views on issues are not suited -- in my opinion -- for *national* leadership.

10. Clark seems to be as good as or better than any Obama surrogate...

He's done a great job of stating the case. It's impressive, given that he's a military guy and not a politician. He seems to beat them at their own game.

23. americablog.com has a snippet that says the same thing because someone
saw him coming out of the building where it is being done. :)

5. I'm now convinced that he would be the best choice.
Also, I loved how Abrams shut that republican down. The republican (can't remember his name right now) said something like "Who has the more authority than the war hero John McCain on this issue ?" Abrams just muttered "Wesley Clark."

11. Clark was really good,.
Haha, he got really pissed when Dan called it a draw for the day and kept trying to argue it at the end of the segment. And it was awesome when he said "There is NO enthusiasm for McCain. He is NOT the charistmatic man that he used to be in the 90s."

17. He's been excellent on TV for the past couple of months
That Republican Joe Watkins fell into the same argument trap that Clark always uses. Clark calls McCain untested on national security policy. Then the generic Republican falls into the trap of saying that Obama is the same. Clark then points out that Obama is running on a platform of judgment whereas McCain is running on a platform of national security experience.

Absolutely the best man for the job.

Ready to be President now, and would step into office in 2016.
