The supreme irony of the coming election is.......
although both nominees are where they are due to their position on Iraq,
The country now wants the election to be about the economy.


I am certain if the economic conditions had deteriorated earlier,say two years ago, we'd have two different nominees.

2. Yep. If this had happened two years ago, our nominee
would probably be John Edwards. Wouldn't surprise me if Obama were his Veep choice, though.
