my question is: isn't it rather McCarthy-esque for CNN to be running polls and then stating that the polls are unscientific, therefore meaningless? It's sort of like a jury hearing that there was a signed confession, but is instructed to put that out of theri minds. Impossible - so CNN has been stressing the polls when they've gone their way, more or less, and completely discounting them when they haven't.

Last weekend, there was a 92 to 8 poll in 'our' favor that Blitzer mentioned for less than 6 seconds at the end of his show - he did not lie the results.

This is going to be a long 70+ days...

CNN poll is complete.

This issue will backfire on Bush.

Even Faux News had the contradicting statements from the swifties in their own words from 1996.

Michael Reagan wanted to see the context. What context? The whole statement was videotaped in which they praised Kerry and supported the medal being awarded.

The facts of 34 years ago don't change because Kerry's political opponents do.
