Idea for a campaign song for Obama
I am sure some of you have seen this on YouTube but I think it hold credence to the political mood today. It's from the 1972 campaign for the Labor Party of Australia. Labor was victorious that year over the Conservative Liberal Party (a paradoxical if there ever was one!). It also includes some Aussie celebrities singing along. This song still carries to this day. All you have to do is place some American celebrities and maybe update the tempo a bit. Hope you like it!

yes it is a Canadian band but it rocks.. and the first line pretty much sums up the new attitude this campaign brings to American politics

2. Keep in mind, it was almost 40 years ago when that came out.
Tweak it a little bit and give it a more 2000's sound, it would be good to go! It also has a good Gospel influence to it as well.
