Screw Lynn Forrester
Edited on Tue Jul-08-08 10:06 PM by elkston
Lynn Forrester de Rothschild, a big money fundraiser for Hillary Clinton is withholding her support (and donations) for Obama because she "doesn't like him" ... and that he is "an elitist".

In the case of Obama, calling him an elitist is racist code language for "a black man, not knowing his place." To people like her, blacks are fine as long as they stay in the lower rungs of society -- dependent on the generosity of whites. But as soon as somebody comes along with real power and influence, they are acting 'uppity' and 'elitist'.

F-ck her and her money.

God Bless Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She was a very strong Hillary supporter but now she is working hard for Obama. She knows how to swallow her pride and do what is best for all of us.

Anyone sitting it out needs to get it over it. Anyone voting for McCain instead does so out of racist motivations. They simply cannot stand the fact that they got "out-FIRSTED" by Obama.

Angry about the media's complicity in sexist statements? Take it up with them. Its not Obama's fault. He was running to win on the issues.

3. Wasserman-Shultz is a dino, even if she's working for Obama.
If someone doesn't want to contribute money, they don't have to, even if you call them names.

When you call people names and cuss at them, the usual convention around here is to provide a link to the article that contains the information. Thanks.

5. DINO?
Dino? Not sure what that means.

Also, I agree expecting donations is one thing. I just want the endorsements and not these public displays of defiance that help the McCain campaign.

15. DINO means
Democrat In Name Only

Wasserman votes with her Repo colleges quite often. She refuses to actively support Dems in Florida running against her Republican friends. http://candidatecubawatch.blogspot.com/2008/03/wasserman-schultz-prefers-mccain.html

What public display are you talking about? Do you have a link to an article or a story?
Or did you hear this person make that remark yourself?
On this site people generally include the url to where others can read the source of the information or the report you are referencing.

17. I would prefer if the big money folks were cut out as much as possible.
It is inevitable that some folks will support one candidate but not another.

But i don't think that will translate into a significant amount of votes.

I think the way to help Obama the most, fastest, and surest is to knock on doors, call on phones, do date entry for the campaign, register voters, and to support the campaigns efforts in events, tabling, etc.

Worrying about people who don't support our candidate or who criticize our candidate (I have done a lot of that lately, about FISA)isn't going to win votes. But knocking on doors, calling, all that stuff actually can sway the election.

6. Someone named Rothschild is calling Obama elitist!
That's rich in more ways than one.

I think she's knows she's a little late in line to get much for her money from Obama.

Oh my God.

Agree about Wasserman-Schultz, she's been great. Also, Lisa Caputo is going a good job too. Heard her last night, she's definitely pulling her weight on the talk shows.

12. Democrat In Name Only.
A pejorative term for moderate or conservative Democrats who side with the Republicans on some key issues. For instance, a lot of people would consider the Blue Dog Coalition to be mostly DINOs.

22. Forrester de Rothschild and John Sidney McCain III don't like those elitists eh?
I mean casual regular guy, son & grandson of admirals, husband of heiress, John Sidney McCain III, would be glad to meet with her in one of his seven estates or one of hers for an informal conversation about what's wrong with those darn elites.
