Geore W Bush never walked a mile in their boots...

Tribute to U.S. soldiers
More than 900 pairs of black combat boots are arranged in rows on the statehouse lawn in Montpelier, Vt., on Aug. 17 in a display called "Eyes Wide Open." The display is a tribute to U.S. troops who have died in Iraq. Each pair was labeled with a service member's name, rank, age and hometown.

George Bush never went to war. He never faced an enemy intent to shoot his head off. He never had to tell the wife of his best friend that he was killed in a muddy field. He never felt the anguish of realizing he shot an innocent civilian in a firefight.

He hasn't had to live with those experiences the past 35 years.

But he is willing and eager to exploit them to stay in power.

No...GW Bush never walked a mile in their boots...

2. Heartbreaking
Each pair represents the hopes, dreams, loves, lives of brothers, sisters, sons, daughter, mothers, fathers; all dashed by the arrogance of one soul less, inhumane person. His black heart is nothing but burnt ash and there must be a special hell for the likes of him.

5. A man who saw the inhumanity would think long and hard before
committing our own to the killing of others.

There is such a quiet, mournful dignity in that photo. May they, and their victims as well, rest in God's embrace.
