If the Gaffes keep coming I think people are going start a whispering campaign that he is not up for the rigors of the fall campaign ans not up for the job.

I am not talking about DEMs who are going to not touch it, for fear of Ageism charges......But folks in the GOP have got to sart being seriously concerned about Barr getting 15% or more in some states because the rank and file just do not think mcCain can win and a landslide is inevitable.

See Reagan could bluff his way through it because of his stature and demeanor. Bob Dole was ancient, but he still had a sharp wit, McCain is McCain is old, dumpy and never was particularly bright.

1. It's true....

I don't like the guy, but the way he gets rattled you almost feel sorry for him.

He's just not Presidential material.

2. I believe his dementia will keep him off the ballot in Nov. Look for Jeb.

5. I thought he looked really bad when he put his hand in front of his mouth when asked about viagra
It was like he had nothing to say, he couldn't even fake it like most politicians by talking about somethging else.

10. That was the worst political meltdown I've ever witnessed. I'm sorry
to predict that the Pubs will replace him on the ballot. Either that or, they have so completely rigged the voting that it won't matter.

6. I have a feeling he will not be the nominee.
He is clearly hanging by a thread, and Obama is already looking poised for such a landslide that they will not be able to steal it covertly (overtly, maybe, but that's a whole other can o' worms...).

I'm sure the GOP puppet masters are already looking for a plan B, and a face-saving way to implement it. (Health problems if he cooperates? A "Dean Scream" media moment if he doesn't?) Hell, they never really liked him anyway.

18. Somebody well-connected with strong Neocon credentials,
Not to mention the utter arrogance to think they could pull it off. Newt Gingrich, maybe? Giuliani? They would fail just as badly as McCain, but I could see them trying it.

7. He's out of his league. He can no more keep pace with the agile
Obama campaign than Homer Simpson could debate Noam Chomsky.

8. He can't remember his votes
He can't remember his positions. I doubt he can remember what he had for lunch yesterday. Ther guy is a train wreck. If we can beat him, we really do deserve to lose.

14. I think theres serious potential for a change of republican candidate
Depending on the polls come the convention I would not be the least surprised to see him beg off from the nomination citing health concerns.

17. He will stay in
The GOP are not worried about McCain actually winning. The GOP cannot win after 8 years of Bush. It's a payoff for McCain dropping out in 2000.
