The probability is that he'll be the nominee- there won't be a political coup.

However, if I and others (many of whom also have up close and personal experience with dementia) are right about the signs we see, then there may well be an event down the line that shows McCain to be unfit to continue.

That's well within the realm of possibilities- and wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
