MSNBC and Republican operatives openly conspire to bring down Obama?
A not-so-surprising piece on MSNBC discussed how they could tear down Obama and give the Repubs a chance to win. Is that really acceptable? To openly discuss how to negatively tear down Obama and build up McCain is acceptable politics, I assume? Understand, that this is not discussing political or policy differences. This is discussing how to tear down the character of one candidate at the benefit of the other.

Obviously unashamed, they openly discuss their strategy. For example, Pat Buchanan said they need to get Obama's "negatives" up to about 51% or 52% for McCain to have a chance. How do they get up his "negatives"? They accuse him of being weak on defense and a flip-flopper (a liar) on different issues. Is this fair game? Should the media cooperate with the Republican Party in discussing how to tear down their opponents with character attacks? Should character attacks be acceptable in our political discourse?

2. hmmmmm
I wonder if MSNBC would discuss how to get McCain's negatives up by citing how he cheated on his wife, or his involvement in the Keating 5, or *his* pandering and flip flopping, or his Bushian policies....

Probably not.

3. So much for the "liberal media" and the "coronation" of "Prince" Obama.
*sigh.*

It's kitchen sink time. They're early.

4. I'm watching less and less corporate nooze these days.
Used to be I'd only watch msnbc, however, they've become just like the other cable nooze outlets and I stopped watching months ago, with the exception of Countdown. With summer here, I find I don't have as much time to watch even that and can't remember the last time I tuned in to any cable nooze.

8. Yeah...I tuned some of it in...but you know I used to get "all worked up" about those Cable Pundits
but then I realized they are having "their own Reagan/Supply Side "House of Cards" coming down on their head and they are trying their best to cover for the fact that their Candidate is so weak...and they'v gotta find a VP that can "Catch on Fire" that will inspire their base.

So...it's what it is...but I would look at Repugs "on the ropes" the way I would look at "snake threatening me.... IOWD's ...I don't know WHEN that SNAKE IS GONNA STRIKE...but I DO KNOW ..THAT IT WILL!

So...these shows are interesting...in that they bring in Joan Walsh of Salon and some Talk Radiot Hosts and some OP's for Campaigns and then they go to KO and bring in John Dean or Rachel Maddow...but in the end.. All of them are presiding over the COLLAPSE OF AMERICAN ECONOMY, CONSTITUTION, VALUES and the REST.

They are what THEY ARE...WE OUT HERE ...are WHO WE ARE.... Just saying.
