So, is the new meme going to be the McCain campaign complaining about media bias?
I have seen this creep up recently...I'm sure that Obama gets MORE coverage, but most of the time, I just don't think it's positive...it's always about Obama's alleged "problems". Does he have a Women problem? Does he have a Jewish problem? Does he have a Muslim problem? Does he have a lack of sense of humor problem (uh, by the way, Chuck Todd just said that George Bush and Barack Obama have similar PERSONALITIES! On what motherfucking planet?) A New York magazine article recently featured a McCain campaign staffer claiming that Hillary Clinton had received the worst campaign coverage since Nixon, and now it was "happening to them". There is apparently a NYT article out today documenting Obama getting more coverage than McCain. Joe Scarborough just had Dee Dee Myers on, and asked her if the press corps was in love with Obama, and Dee Dee Meyers said that it was because he was new and therefor more interesting to cover. Joe then asked it he got more favorable coverage, if there was a press bias for Obama like Hillary Clinton claimed, and Dee Dee seemed to agree that it was more favorable coverage. Hey, I'm all for more coverage of McCain...does he have a memory problem? Why is he not connecting with people on the economy? If this becomes the new "meme", will the press go along with it, will Hillary Clinton claiming that the media was biased in favor of Obama translate for McCain trying to make that case?

1. I've been looking for that NYT article out today about this. Yes,
no one seems to be mentioning that McSame isn't under the scrutiny Obama is. If he was, I imagine there'd be a lot more articles that could be attributed to him. But if the 'journalists' continue to ignore his screw-ups, it's no wonder Obama is getting more press.
And as usual, Scab twisted that to McSame's benefit. Poor old coot, not getting enough attention. :grr:

2. hey, this is the NYT article
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/17/us/politics/17anchors.html?_r=1&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss&oref=slogin

lol, this quote made me laugh-
"“In every campaign, time is a finite resource, so it is unproductive to spend it worrying about the way Obama is covered,” said Jill Hazelbaker, a spokeswoman for Mr. McCain. “That being said, it certainly hasn’t escaped us that the three network newscasts will originate from stops on Obama’s trip.”

So..."we want credit for being stoic, yet we want to get a little dig in?"
