I work with veterans everyday. I deal with my husband everyday and I know you guys are steaming mad right now. I know you are hurting.
Please for your own heatlh sake..when the Swifties or Oneill the Liar comes on Tv, please change the channel. Turn him off. I know that he is bringing up emotions and this whole pundit debate is taking you to places you need not go. So are the ads. You have to deal with enough. Welcome Home first of all and continue remembering that there are many of us in your corner. Many of us fighting for the veteran. Many of us who honor your service. Many of us are not vet against vet and you need to take a deep breath and don't let these R-winged Bush chickenhawk paid liars get to you. Thye want you to react to a point you can't vote. You can't vote if you are in the hospital or so torn up that you don't feel like going to the polls.
Shut those lying Swifties and those rwingers out and concentrate on our man Kerry and try to rest and not go back to those days of horror anymore than you go already. This is their real motive..to make you sick and to make Kerry look bad and to turn vet against vet.

This is Don Rosenblum who works for VA Headquarters in Washington and sends me the info regarding environmental agents and Agent orange and how many cutbacks there are going down. He too is suffering under this administration, as he has Parkisons and I know which party he is for ..I made a trip to talk to him on Agent orange ..He writes the newsleters that are sent toa all VA healthcare systems. and he calls and gives me updates on how the Vets today are being treated. He was there under Clinton. He is not a happy camper these days !

All Americans should be outraged at the media and pundits for their incessant pandering of the Swift Boat malarkey, now a Stink Boat of decomposing lies and innuendoes. Many venomous vets have flip flopped; most accusations are hearsay; Generals and more eyewitnesses are publicly supporting Kerry; one accuser is politically linked to the Bush Family; others like Thurlow and O’Neill have gone up in flames; and the official records support Kerry.

Although the incestuous relationship between the Ship of Fools and Bush is as yet unproven, we know that under the law that “silence means consent.” Therefore, Bush’s shameful refusals to condemn this nightmare of poisonous allegations is both active supporter and beneficiary. Smeargate has been Bush’s answer to Kerry’s plea for a positive campaign predicated on the issues. It should be condemned by all loyal and patriotic Americans irrespective of political affiliation.

For G.W. Bush, who has a military record of cowardice and desertion, hatching a rotten egg like Smeargate is like embracing a live grenade. But politically he has little choice since Bush is one of only two groups calculating to benefit from this Borgia Bandwagon: Those who need to coverup the Bush record of failures and broken promises and prevent discussion of the real issues like Iraq, jobs, health care, national security, etc. And those dreaming that defiling Kerry will somehow ease their own personal Vietnam demons.

Smeargate promotes a man who has consistently shafted and ignored veterans, inflicted a domestic policy of welfare for the upper 1%, and “High Noon” foreign policies of reckless irresponsibility that are killing Americans, decreasing our security, and bankrupting the nation. A “self-inflicted wound” has nothing to do with John Kerry, but characterizes the misinformed middle class citizen or seduced veteran supporting Bush.

Get in touch with your local Veterans for Kerry organization. Thanks to Bush's slimevets, real veterans are going to be huge force in this election. In my area we are already planning events that will definitely impact the election in John Kerry's favor.

However, I can't avoid this battle. I am writing Op/Ed pieces and LTTE's, but I am taking my B/P meds and monitoring all health aspects of what this kind of thing can do to the body and mind. I hope to strike a healthy balance, and I hope to strike these Swift-Liars my own little blow.

Having said that, let me say this: John O'Neill looks like this whole thing is killing him .. literally. He looks hypertensive and crapulent. He is pale and puffed-up. His only color seems to be from the tell-tale spider nevi of the cirrhotic. His eyes are chronically red and rheumy, and his fine tremor (3.5 - 4 on the Richter scale) may be a bit more than stage fright in that glaring public spotlight that he has brought upon himself. All of which begs the question: John O'Neill, why are you killing yourself for a worthless, vapid little man like George Bu$h?

That is good advice for those suffering from PTSD. It is also important to get involved in a positive way, speaking to fellow vets, volunteer for Veterans for Kerry, etc. Thanks for your care and concern for Veterans, we sure don't get any from the current pResident. Shame on Bush and the Repubs for what they are doing to the VA and veterans!

Call upon all veterans to stand for the man who stood in combat. Knowing the vet community, they are surely not happy about vet vs vet. It is not a pretty sight.

The last two weeks were pathetic "prove me wrong" type lies. And look how much traction that got.

This week will be nuclear because it will be based on an "out of context" lie. And that context will be the central nightmare of a generation - Viet Nam atrocities.

I'm guessing most boomers will tune it out. My heart goes out to the PTSS victims who can't.
