Seriously, where are the McCain bumper stickers?
I live in San Diego County, I haven't seen ONE. Will this election be a landslide or what?

I haven't seen one McCain sticker or lawn sign. We have an apartment in Burbank for my husband's job and he hasn't seen one there either.

I see lots of Obama signs, stickers, buttons and tees here though!

64. Two...
around Oakland. One also had an Operation Chaos sticker as well. The car came from a Walnut Creek dealership. Figures.

Meanwhile, I'm seeing Obama lawn signs on mansions, even in Piedmont, in the area where all the retired Chevron execs live. When those people want change, something is definitely up.

And there are more Obama stickers on cars than McCain. Although, I hate to admit it, there are probably still more BushCheney 2004 stickers than Obama. A recent poll only had McCain up by 6 points. The repubs will win the state, but that's still significant when you consider that Bush won the state by 16 and 17 points the two times he ran.

But knowing in the last two months, the rain has been maybe, 5" at best.

Yeah, my mom's tomatoes need water and it gets a nice sprinkle a few times a day - the tomatoes were delicious when she served them with chopped liver.. mmm. (No Lecter jokes here, please)

In our small town 4th of July parade, the Republican party had a bunch of folks marching....they had signs for all the local, state and congressional candidates, but not a single McCain sign anywhere in the whole bunch.

The county Dems, by contrast had several people with Obama signs.

Interesting at the very least!

44. Poison ivy
It should be a landslide - Bush, the GOP and their policies are discredited and seen for what they are - discredited, unAmerican and disastrous.

In terms of signs on bumpers and in yards - I see very few of either yet. The one McCain yard sign I see is almost obscured by weeds and looks like it is entangled in poison ivy.

This should be a landslide but never good to be complacent. We need dem victories across the board. There is so much damage to be undone and we need to give Obama the room to be a little more "radical" without political damage.

46. I have yet to see a single McCain sticker or yard sign here in WV.
I've seen quite a few for Obama, however. I went for a block around my neighborhood the other day and noticed that 4 new Obama yard signs had popped up. The most telling one of all was the yard in which a Hillary sign had been removed and neatly placed aside, with Obama taking its place.

I attribute the above to the extreme lack of excitement for McCain. He'll still win WV, but few people here actually like him. They're merely voting against Obama.

What's really interesting is that I was in Hanover County today, which is a Republican exurb (71-28, shrub '04), and saw an Obama sticker on an SUV(gasp) :P. My wife also happened to be in Hanover a few days ago and saw an Obama and a Webb sticker on a pickup.
