McCain only raked in $16.4 million in June

McCain only raked in $16.4 million in June
According to McCain's June FEC report he only raked in $16,379,292.44 in June. The $22 million number that was released before includes $5 million transfered from "Other Authorized Committees" (RNC) and $650,000 he got back from refunds.

Um yeah, declining public funds was pretty shrewd on Obama's part. Another good call by a skilled politician. Too bad this isn't getting any press, as usual.

6. Wow, you'd think McCain would want to be able to say "I need help big walleted republicans"
You would think it would be worth the risk of McCain getting a bad fund raising month and saying "I need help, start pouring in the cash you rich republican donors if you want me to be able to help you get your way for the next 4 years". I mean it worked great for Hillary's campaign when the media was going "Hillary's campaign is going flat broke" to get her supporters to start pouring in millions of dollars. It would definitely be worth the risk of lowering morale among his party.
