1. That guy is awful
How far up your own ass can a person possibly have their head?

I like it if he's "scared" of Dean, though. Probably just a ploy.

8. Scared of Dean, my ass. This is just using Dean to cause trouble
in the Dem party and to attack the Clintons. Just as they've been doing for almost a year now.

9. Your ass
should be scared of Dean - he's currently trouncing your candidate.

Too bad the Republicans and their anti-Clinton mind-meld have gotten hold of me and thousands of others, forcing us like zombies to ignore rationality and donate our time and hard earned dollars to the guy who will without a doubt destroy the Democratic Party, if not the world. Bwhahahhah hhahahahahahahah hahahahahahahahah
</end evil laugh

10. NYTIMES: Some Democrats Uneasy About Dean as Nominee
"Many leading Democrats say they are uneasy about Howard Dean's candidacy for president and are reluctant to cede him the nomination for fear that his combative style and antiwar stance will leave Democrats vulnerable in November.

They acknowledge that Dr. Dean has run a strategically savvy campaign that has made him the candidate to beat. But their worry has been heightened anew, they say, by Dr. Dean's statement this week that the capture of Saddam Hussein "did not make America safer" and by his suggestion that Saudi Arabia warned President Bush about Sept. 11 even though "I did not believe the theory I was putting out...."

uneasy about standing up to Bush. Hence their failure to invigorate Democratic Primary voters.

They word I would use is afraid, but then again, I don't write for the New York Times.

12. Yeah, that's why WSJ reporter said that RNC is thrilled with gaffe-prone
Dean as the nominee. All Dean's supporters who forgive him everything, mistakes, dissembling, inconsistencies during the primary will be met in the general by an unforgiving onslaught of Dean's fuckups by the RNC.

16. Wow, what a smearfest... I need a towel.
I honestly think the tone of your posts do more harm than good for civil discourse on DU. Is that what you want?

Why don't you try promoting your candidate instead of negative attacks? I think you'll find people will start repsonding to you in a positive way.

17. Kerry was anti- UN and pro-Iraqi war....
Edited on Fri Dec-19-03 02:08 PM by TLM
It is not Dean's fault that Demcorats who sided with Bush on the war, patriot act, no child left behind, and taxes are losing.

Open your eyes. The party does not want that type of democrat in charge of the party any more... we're sick of the pink tutu spine less dems who bend over for Bush and are more vicious in their attacks on Dean for daring to fight back than on Bush for doing the shit Dean is fighting back against.

The base has left your guy because your guy left the base. And even now as you see the old ways passing, you folks can't get the picture... you can't seem to figure out that Dean is wining primarily because he is not Kerry or Gephardt.

Kerry's campaign manager, Jim Jordan, snapped at Dean's insistence on getting U.N. backing (a position supported by three-quarters of Democrats and 53 percent of Independents). "Gov. Dean, in effect, seems to be giving the U.N. veto power over national security decisions of the United States. That's an extraordinary proposition, one never endorsed by any U.S. president or serious candidate for the presidency," he told the Associated Press' Ron Fournier.
