Monday Morning McCain Gaffe
ABC NEWS

And it was McCain who owns the first big gaffe of the trip -- appearing to confuse Iraq and Afghanistan.

Asked by ABC's Diane Sawyer Monday morning whether the "the situation in Afghanistan in precarious and urgent," McCain responded:

"I think it's serious. . . . It's a serious situation, but there's a lot of things we need to do. We have a lot of work to do and I'm afraid it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border," said McCain, R-Ariz., said on "Good Morning America."

Iraq and Pakistan do not share a border. Afghanistan and Pakistan do.

2. Holy sh*t!
It is possible to be dumber than Bush! In reading his interviews (the ones they don't normally print), you see a man who is wholly inept and clueless about everything. He can't even answer a simple question, and has no idea where he stands on many important issues. It's terrifying.

11. I Don't Think It's A Matter Of Being Dumb
I think there's something seriously wrong with him, physically, and this is the result. And it is terrifying.

And he is smarter than we think, according to a NYT article I saw on MSNBC's web site this morning. It is so nauseating pro-mccain and anti-Obama piece that it made me sick. I will put the link here but read at your own risk. I could not/would not read past the first page. :grr:

It's funny how they're just salivating for any gaffe from Obama and emphasizing how risky his foreign trip is while McSame has a gaffe daily.

spotted at the Iraq/Pakistan border. Senator MacCain has offered to draw us a map, since he has been there so often.

No wonder we couldn't find him.

17. But the average NASCAR fan doesn't know these things
And Dian Sawyer surely didn't point that out as they all sit there eating Cheerios with beer watching ABC.

So McSame will get away with yet more stupidity

25. That's the reason he's against negotiations
McCain gets foreign policy and geography so easily confused that he would start WWIII if he attempted negotiations with a hostile government. He figures that it is probably best to save time and just jump straight into a war instead wasting time starting one by referring to Shiites as Sunnis.
