Please, if you believe in the Power of our thoughts
Start setting aside 5 or 10 minutes a day to envision the Joy of Barack Obama as our next President! You can do it! Yes we can!

26. The OP said nothing about prayer.
Prayer and visualization are not the same things.

2. Thoughts only have power when they're turned into action...

Praying is a waste of emotion, time, and energy.

Act!

6. Prayer is powerful
and it works. It may not always be the exact thing we ask for, but it will be what we need.

19. Visualizing is not praying. They are two different things.
Visualization helps you achieve your goals (actions) by putting forth that energy and clarifying the steps you need to take in order to achieve said goals. It's a powerful thing that's been used throughout history by Churchill, Einstein, and Emerson, just to name a few.

4. Pray Rain.
So a guy I know lives in New Mexico. He went with a Native friend of his who was going to pray for rain (they needed it badly). They hiked up to some ceremonial spot in the hills, his friend took off his shoes and stepped into a circle of rocks. Stood there, head bowed for about 10 minutes. The guy I know was expecting chanting, prayers, something, so was surprised when his friend stepped out of the circle, slipped into his shoes and said "let's go get something to eat." Guy I know said "Wait -- I thought you were going to pray for rain." His friend said, not pray FOR rain - I Prayed Rain. He envisioned himself running through fields of corn in a downpour, felt the wet stalks on his skin, smelled the damp earth, the air, etc.

When we pray FOR something it's from a place of lack - and that reinforces that lack. When we envision, become, what is is we want, we attract that to us.

Pray Obama.

5. Well said
Visualization is key.

Visualize the Obama family waving from the steps of the White House, and we're all waving back;)

I like to picture what November 4th will look like as well as January 20th. Two amazing days!

23. I watched The Secret in full the other day...and I noticed what they said about Bush
that he kept getting selected because of all the energy and attention (positive and negative) that was directed towards him. Which, if true, could mean good news for us because even though the media is constantly tearing him down, they are not focusing any of their energy on McCain.

27. LOL
Been doing that every time I think about him.

Really...the hope of the world is resting on his shoulders at this point. I know it sounds like hyperbole, but when you step back and take a look at it...it is true.

I just hope Obama does not feel that...it might make him nervous. It sure would make me nervous. But then again, I am no Frodo, so to speak.
