There's your big foreign policy expert John McCain for you.

It reminds me of that guy this week who put up that "Don't Vote Democrat" billboard and who actually said on CNN that Bill Clinton had Osama bin Laden in his grasp after 9/11 and let him go, and that if a Republican had been president on 9/11 he would have stopped it. Doh!

Do these effing people ever look at a map or pick up a book or look around at the actual world around them?

2. It seems the goofiest Republicans always get the attention

I know smart Republicans, people who can put together a cogent thought and articulate conservative principles. Instead, they're represented by jackasses like Bush, McCain, Hannity, Coulter, and when a regular Joe type actually gets some airtime, he's a moron like Meehan.
