Did You See The Clip Of John McCain - #3 Story On Countdown Tonight......
he was behind a podium and standing on a box to reach the microphone. It took me by surprised and made the soda I was drinking come through my nose. Really, really funny. I wonder if there is a YouTube clip of that - it really promotes his image. Like a booster chair at a restaurant.

1. How much do you bet that at the debates, mcSAME insist that they sit down?
McSame, according to Wikipedia is 5'7"
And according to a Radar Magazine article is a "shrimpy 5'6"

But if you search hard enough, you can find a wingnut site or two that try to stretch him out to a 5'9" (which he is clearly NOT )

Every site I've found on Obama so far states that he's 6'1"

So yeah... I'm guessing the mcdud campaign will insist they sit for all debates..

AUGUST 2008
26th: Presidential debate in Oxford, Miss.

OCTOBER 2008
2nd: Vice Presidential debate in St. Louis, Mo.
7th: Presidential debate in Nashville, Tenn.
15th: Presidential debate in Hempstead, N.Y.

3. LOL!
I don't know if he can stand that long.. but I know that campaigns do a whole lot of negotiating on how those things are set up.

4. It Happens All The Time...
They used to prop Gary Bauer...I think the dude's 5'2 amd had him stand on phone books like a little kid to make him appear level with other candidates.

There's already some "concern trolls" who want an Obama/McCain debate to be a sit-down one cause Obama is not just younger, but a lot taller than Gramps...not quite the image of a "commander in chief".
