Does anyone really think Bobby Jindal will be McCain's VP?

Let's look at his "resume":

-Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services for Planning and Evaluation (What?!)

-Failed 2003 campaign for governor

-2 terms in house of reps

-Less than a year as LA governor

By picking Jindal, McCain effectively innoculates Obama against the one line of attack he has left, the "inexperience" meme. Plus, McCain's numbers are artificially inflated by people who may have been normally swing voters or democrats, but won't vote for a black candidate. By picking Jindal, he would lose a significant number of those voters who simply would have their brains explode from too many durn minorities takin' our jobs! :sarcasm:

But seriously. I pray McCain DOES pick this guy as his VP. It would be a gift to us like none other.

1. Sadly, no. Jindal would wipe McCain's only argument--experience--off the table.
It shall be Mittens, maybe Pawlenty, maybe Crist, maybe Ridge.

3. I read where ultra-conservatives like him a lot.
That's worrisome, there's lots of them voting out there and they don't care about the other issues.

Unless he picks Rudy.:silly: Oh lets face it. It doesn't matter which Republican he picks. Every last one of them is either a nut job or facing indictment.

5. I'll give him credit that he is very accomplished for his age.
However, that doesn't quite cut the mustard here.

6. I hope McCain names his VP first before Obama.
and he can stop his whining (like a baby) and have the RW media run to him again.

7. Apparently there's some bizzarre exorcism story in his background
I remember Rachel Maddow reading a biography about him that recounted this, and she basically said this would be a major obstacle. Plus he would look like McCain's grandson.

8. Jindal would lose two key possible GOP voting contingents
Jindal is anti-choice (100% rating with National Right To Life), therefore a bad choice for woman voters and is a minority, hence not going to get the GOP Racist Hate Voter, which is in the millions.

That said, I would welcome Jindal as his VP. It would guarantee that McCain loses BADLY.

9. Be careful of what you wish for...
you may get it.

Quayle on the ticket didn't stop Bush from winning big in 1988...

and, many Dems were happy that Bush defeated McCain in 2000 because they thought Bush to be weaker in the general election...

and, similar to 1980 - Democrats were happy that Reagan defeated Bush because nobody would vote for somebody as radical as Reagan.
