What the fu@k? 'Faith of Our Fathers: John McCain Story' movie being sold at local grocery store.
I didn't know it was a movie, hell, I didn't even know it was a book. I damn sure don't want to see it being sold and advertised in my local grocery store. It's time to reinstate the fairness doctrine. I can't even boycott that store because they are the only game in town. This pisses me off to no end.

1. That was the last time he showed any integrity.
Once he got home he became a soulless opportunist.

2. Even if you have to support them, write them... I did
On election day 2006, I had a rightwing butcher start spewing vitriol against Democrats to me all because I was wearing an "I Voted" sticker.

I wrote the email below to the store. The Harris Teeter mentioned in the below email opened up early this year, and true to my word, no one in my family has set foot in Lowes since.

So even if you must shop there now, make it clear that as soon as you get another option, you're gone.

BTW, I got a canned polite "apology" from the managers of this store, but I never followed up with them. The butcher was still there as of early this year, when I stopped shopping there.

Last night I was in your store in the Charlotte suburb of ----------------.

I was wearing my "I Voted" sticker as I visited the butcher and seafood counter.

One of your employees, whose name I did not catch, started chatting about the elections and voter turnout, general political chitchat which was fine. But then he went too far, ranting about how "When Iranians and those people in Iraq and the terrorists tell you they want Democrats in office, you know Democrats are going to support terrorism!"

Not that he asked, but I am a registered Democrat and I found his comments not only stupidly ignorant and false, but utterly offensive.

I was polite to him, because engaging in a political argument with a Lowes foods employee was low on my list of things to do last night.

However, I do not seek political commentary at the butcher counter.

Please remind your employees that spouting ignorant political opinions is not "polite" conversation. If I wanted to hear that kind of nonsense, I would have turned on Fox News.

Your store is extremely convenient to where I live, so unfortunately I will probably have to continue shopping there for the time being. But take note: a Harris Teeter is being built right next door to this Lowes Foods store and the day that it opens, you will permanently lose my family as customers.

8. It's actually "Faith of My Fathers"
I guess it was a made for TV movie, which tells you, it sucked. Clearly obvious political motive for selling it in a grocery store. And I just don't feel like changing it. :P

4. Take the movies and move them to the pet food isle.
Maybe Fido might like to chew on it. Ha, they are sure getting desperate if they have to put it in the grocery store.

7. Obama has *2* Grammy Award winning CDs out. Ask them if they'd mind selling those as well.

As to this movie, I saw part of it on TV one evening earlier this year. Don't recall what network.
