He calls Ohio as In the bag for Mccain and says he doesn't need Rob Portman as his vp.
He calls Florida a poential battleground state.
He says Mitt Romney would give Mccain Michigan, and give him a shot at PA.
He says Tom Ridge would give Mccain PA.
He wants to Ignore the fact Obama Is beating Mccain on the economy.Romney can not chance the fact Mccain Is 100 percent with Bush on all economic policys.
Ridge would not be liked since he Is prochoice. And he allows us to further attack Mccain as being Bush's third term.
How can anyone call Florida a battleground state but Ohio a safe Mccain State?
I do admit that Mccain would be helped In Michigan by Romney however It would not be over there just by Romney.Ohio Is probally more of a battleground that Florida.Mccain's VP Is not going to allow him to just roll over Obama. The world tour has weakened Mccain. And If pundits are right and Obama picks Biden as his VP he will not hold back against attacking Mccain on Iraq and national security. And Romney Is a even bigger Flipflipper. We would have a field day with Romney.
I pretty much agree with you.I have long doudted Obama could win Florida.Ohio Is a better battleground. If Obama were to pick Hillary as VP Ohio Is one state the Clintons could help.
I call Florida as lean Mccain and Michigan as Lean Obama.Michigan would tighen If Romney Is picked. Michigan, and NH are the 2 states Kerry won that Mccain has a shot at with certain things.
To win Michigan Mccain has to get some of the Hillary Supporters and use Romney to convince the voters there he Is different than Bush on the Economy.60-40 are good odds.
