Only a few stories actually noted that most of McCain's mistakes appeared to be in foreign affairs, his perceived strength.

The third step was to have major network anchors aggressively try to get gotch moments out Obama, as well as aggressively go after him in interviews with Charlie Gibson showing a complete lack of respect to Obama by referring to him as a rookie.

The fourth step was to ruthlessly spin a very beautiful and powerful speech into a negative, as though Americans want to be hated, and assert that they will distrust any American leader who is not burned in effigy abroad.
