Shuster made a ridiculous statement on Shultz today.
He thinks that Obama's statement in response to a question regarding the little bit of time that Obama spent in france will hurt him back home.

Here is Obama's statement that he referenced:

I think a lot of Americans would love to spend more time in Paris!

He thought that was a monumental mistake!

I think Shuster has drank the kool-aid and has gone off the deep end! Couple that with is failure to accurately report the gallop poll numbers.

Obama has an uphill battle with the US "media"...

I encourage all americans who care to read about the rise of the third reich and the propaganda machine that was in force in Germany during that time. The parallels are frightening!

I just returned from a visit to Germany a few months ago and toured all of the historic sites where they had lengthly exhibits and presentations regarding the Hitler's assent to power. I think that is why this kind of behavior on thepart of our media here is just eye opening to me. (sorry for the rant)

2. oh god.
What did he say exactly? It's so funny that all of this "America is PERFECT! We are ABOVE NONE OTHER. How DARE OBAMA SUGGEST WE HAVE BEEN IMPERFECT" stuff coming from the same Pubs who try and compare Obama to Hitler and shit.

6. who? Shuster or Obama? I posted Obama's words...
Shuster thought that the statement was a monumental mistake and that it would show up in Repub ads....and that American's don't like France so it would be a big problem for him. Ed didn't challenge him at all. He sounded disappointed in Shuster's statement but he didn't let him have it. That was unfortunate.

10. I was asking what Shuster said.
Geeze, that's going to "end up in Repub ads"? How ridiculous. Yet, the RNC does embarass itself on a regular basis, so you never know.

3. I'd like to visit Paris sometime
but I probably won't.

Its funny to listen (and read) the wack job conservatives whine about how "unfair" the media is to Mccain but they are deathly afraid of the fairness doctrine. Almost as much as they fear swearing to tell the truth.

4. he's really in the tank today. dunno if he's revealing his true colors show, or what.
criticizing Obama at every turn, and just being a stenographer for McCain, characterizing his speech in Denver today as somehow different (stronger) than before, when it was just a rehash of his disingenuous character assassination of Obama

and he really ganged up on that poor simp Roger Allen Stone with the pug during their discussion segments

did you see him salivating over McCain with Andrea?

why am I watching?

14. Concur - Paris is beautiful
The food, the monuments, the history, the fabulous Metro. Of the cities i have visited, it is my favorite. I also found the people to be as pleasant as those in any other city of similar size.

He's really schilling for some reason. I don't know what the hell is going on with him. I was shocked listening to him with Ed today.

16. Shuster must be living in the past
Sure, back in 2003, a lot of Americans were pissed off at France. The Gallup poll showed that only around 34 percent of Americans had a favorable view of France. But Shuster is out of touch -- a Gallup poll taken five months ago showed that 69 percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of France -- close to the 71 percent favorability rating for Israel. I'd wager that of the 27 percent who don't like France, the overwhelming majority are dead-enders who wouldn't vote Obama if he had pissed on the French flag in front of the Eiffel Tower.
