McCain on CNN just said the Iraq War has had a positive impact on Afghanistan.
That's a pretty big gaffe. The evidence is that Afghanistan is in the worst shape since we invaded. We should jump on him for this one. The so-called foreign policy expert is no expert at all.

1. This is pitiful
Thr most pitiful part is the media won't hold him accountable for what he says.

10. Far from it -- Blitzkrieg is now parroting talk radio talking points ...
All about Obama "snubbing" the troops by not visiting them
overseas ... Nothing like taking your cues about NEWS from
what's being discussed among wingnuts on their talk radio
shows.

5. The maddening thing is the media isn't questioning their insane allegations.
If they repeat this crap enough times, people will start to believe it. Exhibit A and 'the surge':

Repeat ad nauseum, and it becomes part of the dialogue.

9. this is so obviously the key, and it's OLD; right out of the Gore/internet/love canal/love story
playbook, for just one example

it's ALL they need to do, really

Marketing 101.

determine your marketing object
publicize the theme
repeat endlessly

"You deserve a break today"

"We bring good things to life"

"I'd like to teach the world to sing"

"Obama lacks the judgment to be commander in chief"

14. We invaded Iraq so that the Afghans wouldn't think we were just picking on them.

Yeah that's the ticket.

15. Well it did, from OBL's point of view.
Al Qaida has loved the Iraqi mess.

I guess we see who sees the world like OBL and Al Qaida. ;-)
