Chris Matthews on Morning Joe: Democratic Party in disarray, Obama not winning Clinton Voters
Chris wasn't even trying to be subtle, he bluntly and intensely said the democratic party is in trouble, it is not united, and Obama hasn't been able to get Clinton backers on board.

Give me a fucking break. How old is this media bullet point? Keep saying it jackasses - it will continue to be untrue.

I beginning to believe that the only thing the media really cares about is never having a landslide election that might hurt their ratings....

Go flush your eyes with plenty of water and rinse your esophagus with a couple glasses of chardonay while you're at it. You should be fine...

4. Hilraisers aren't important. They're only in it for the influence.
He's got most of her supporters, that's all that matters.

10. The VERY oddest thing about Chris Matthews is he is different on differnt shows
tonight on Hardball, he was very pro Obama and a dem victory. He's been great/good all week.

His sunday morning show is almost always tolerable. He doesn't talk all the time and isn't a shit.

I didn't see Morning Joe so I don't know what happened, just saying. Tweety swings both ways and I can never tell what will trigger it.

(He was pretty brutal tonight about Bush sending talking points to Fox.)

12. Tweety or Joe?
They're both mental, but as far as I know, Tweety never had any dead bodies turn up in his office.

21. IMO ...
I think he is/was a registered D, I think he made his run years ago as a D ...

Bob Casey beat the maniac Santorum two years ago, so that seat is not going to be on the ballot for four more years ...

The other senator is the supposedly moderate republican Arlene Spector ...

Now, either way, maybe Mathews knows that Spector might not be running again for health reasons ... I dont think that is the case by looking at Spector's moves ... But, maybe Mathews knows he is not going to run ...

But, if Spector is running, no way Mathews tries to challenge him as an R ... He makes that run as a D ...

IMO ... if he runs, it will be as a D ... IMO, he doesn't have the heart to challenge Spector ...

FACT, IF he runs as a D, I will do whatever I can to oppose him ... YEARS now of marginalizing and holding Ds in contempt from a national forum ... I will not forget or forgive that ...

he were running as a repuke 'cause look at all the stuff he'd have to answer for as a Dem candidate.

14. Chris Matthews literally does not know his ass from a hole in the ground.
He talks to his whitebread relatives, and from that little bit of information, he tries to extrapolate to the entire Democratic party.

The polls, even gamed as they are, consistently show Obama with a good lead, and McCain cannot break 44%.

15. Last & most current poll I saw showed 80% of Clinton supporters now support Obama.
That's enough.

The rest are simply not persuadable.

20. It is worrisome to me
that McCain is still holding as close as he is in most of the major polls I've seen. We can't get complacent or think we have this all sewn up. We thought the same about Kerry remember?

22. I' SURE last week I heard that Obama already has the support
of about 80% of Hillary's supporters, and that last 20% may never change their minds. I think the media is very intent on making sure McNuts doesn't get left in the dust, at least not this early.

25. You are right. They know Obama is so far ahead that all they can
do is parrot stupid shit like this to get audience attention. Like claiming that we don't trust eloquence and are more comfortable with McLame's "honest" stutterings and struggles to string a sentence together. Claiming Obama has to "defend" his trip to Europe, like there's somethng wrong with that. Making up crap about O. not going to see the soldiers in the hospital, when he didn't do that because the State Department and the Pentagon said not to.

Just making up crap to try to keep the audience watching as if something dramatic might happen. Creating drama out of nothing. Tweety ought to cancel his show and replace it with a soap opera.

27. The MSM needs HRC as VP because they want all that drama
They want to be able to speculate for hours on how Hillary is handling the campaign. Is she stable? What about Bill? How is he handling this? Is he still jealous of Obama? And what about that girl that was seen leaving his hotel room late last night? ad infinitum

They miss the Clintonian drama.

28. I think it's partly true
My Mom was in the Hillary age band. And she has yet to get much into Obama. She knows nothing of the horrible mistakes McCain made this week. I know a lot of women about my Moms age that have sort of shut down after Hillary left. Something tells me not until the convention will these people get recharged about the race.

Well, I stopped watching his crappy network during the primary. They never even pretended to be objective.
