9. I don't WANT to see references to his age....that distracts from his LYING all the time
age has nothing to do with his craven disregard for the cavalier manner in which he completely disregards his past statements, as if he's never made them.

there are many instances when he's denied having said the things he's said

here's a good example

15. No, no references to his age in the video itself.
I just happen to think he's a doddering fool is all.

5. and the beauty part was that he had no CLUE that those were his own words
did you see the Greenwald clip that I linked later on?

the whole thing is replete with examples of his contradictions....EXACTLY what Obama better start using, and all he has to do is cut them down into 30 second segs

8. Yup!
Cut them down into 30 second clips, and there is nothing he or the rest of those republican idiots say to smear it. He would be using his own words against him. Brilliant!

11. really....it's so simple, and it's what Gore should have done in 2000, as well as Kerry, but
they were too CHICKEN, I think, because of the faux outrage that would have been expressed at being so disrespectful

I've seen instances of that in the past, where there is NO slack given for 'demeaning' the republican candidate, while it's fine to make 'funny/hilarious' vids about dems, like the two McCain just did about Paris and Moses, as the commentators have been saying this week

6. I like this comment from youtube
Who understands the concerns of Americans better? A young man of modest means who has overcome a broken family and various prejudices to reach the top? Or an old guy who is part of the cabal that turned our budget surplus into a half trillion deficit over the past 8 years, and whose family income is $6m a year? Only racists and Halliburton employees should vote McCain. Republicans = wars, deficit, loss of respect for the US, and now recession too.

10. You mean THAT Russert who everybody was dissing
When he died?

Yeah, he was good, but people on this board would rather have cut their own tongues out than admit it.

Giving credit where credit is due doesn't take away from that fact.

13. he wasn't good, if you judge his work on an overall basis, but he had his moments
he was a TOOL of the administration, Cheney in particular, and was their GO TO guy when they wanted to get the message out

you remember Cathie Martin's statement at the Libby trial

that's all you need to know about Russert

as I said, he had his moments, but they were few and far between when you compare his treatment of dems to republicans

it's all out there
