Can you imagine what would happen if McCain won?

Those of us who lived thru the Eisenhower era recall that as a true 'hero' and 5 star general who was a 'father figure', (BS as far as I'm concerned - my dad looked nothing like Ike) realize that McCain would make Ike look and sound like a combination of Churchill, Lincoln, and Jefferson. It would be 4 years of Willie Geist showing McCain screw-ups and Mika saying "Stop. That's not nice!" It would be 4 years of stupidity and lies, blaming Congress for everything, taking no responsibility, staff coming and going, and product placement of Budweiser at every WH function. He's a third-rate politician, a fifth-rate intellect, graduated at the bottom of his class of course - for Republicans, that's OK, Reagan, Bush Jr, and this guy are far from intellectual and don't respect intellect.

The country's losing it's pursuit of intellectualism, of the scientific method, of sensibility. It will only get worse with this guy and it is wise to remember that there is no level to which we may sink that the Brad Blakeman's of the world can't justify the RW mantras.

The Fundamental Theorem of the present RW agenda is "The Bottom Line", that is, dollar profit alone in and for itself alone, and if someone has to die to produce that extra dollar, that's just fine with them. They. Don't. Care.

Unless, of course, it happens to them. Then it's a problem.
