Media Hoes trolling the blogs looking for reactions to certain election issues.
Like.......

1. Our reaction to daily poll numbers.

2. Our reaction to Obama's willingness to consider offshore drilling if it will get a bill through that will include a large chunk of alternative energy policies and if it will give McCain and the Republican Congress one less issue to campaign on.

3. Our reaction to Obama's overall campaign strategy in "fighting back".

4. Our reaction to the race card issue

what they are not trolling for:

1. Negative stories on McCain

2. Stories on good state electoral polls results for Obama

3. Stories on how much the media suck and how.

Hey, I have an idea! let's continue to give them story on McCain and on how much the media suck and how well Obama is doing considering the media onslaught! We have done pretty well this weekend, although I did have to hide a couple of threads! :)

1. Like WHO still watches the Propaganda channel - FUX
First I gave up on FUX - then the local news channels as they were bought up by the likes of Clear Channel

Now I'm down to CNN, a local radio show, and Air America.

Funny - when I was in the Army they kept telling us to be vigilant in our defense against the Russians because Russians are controlled by the propaganda their government puts out.

Oh my, how times have changed

10. CNN was just a Free Hot Button for my Blackberry
Wish DU and MSNBC would put out 1

I read the news on my BlackBerry when I'm at work. The only computers I use at work are the ones that run a rather large oil refinery. Needless to say they are not on the Web in fear of hacking attempts

2. Roger that...K and R
We've been seeing stories about "ourselves" for a while now which is one of the reasons I prefer not to criticize the candidate right now and get really pissed off by those who do.

And I'm sick of the non-constructive self-righteousness.

Cheers to you, FrenchieCat. :toast:

It was curious that CNN sought out the "protestor" from the FL Obama appearance and interviewed him. Have they ever done that for like Code Pink Protestors, etc...? Seemed odd somehow. Kid says, "I'm still not voting for Obama". Wonder how much CNN enjoyed that segment? I've seen it three times already, and I barely watch CNN.

9. No, I've never seen code pink members mentioned anywhere except on
right wing radio.

I'll bet they were salivating when Obama had his hecklers yesterday....until he spun it into a success.

If he hadn't handled it well it would run in loops for a week.

Our best revenge?...winning.

5. Even Trollng Requires Work
The corporate media is too lazy to do that...it's easier to make shit up and claim they found it "somewhere on the intertubes".

Honestly, I haven't heard the corporate media make many references to websites this election cycle...as they now fear them as competition and you don't want to give them any free publicity.

For the most part, the bloggers come to them. Look at how many of their stories are cited here...or polls...and people "DU" them or flood the comments section.

The corporate media is going by their own narrative and are gonna find the "fact" or polls that prove it and when they're wrong they'll shrug their shoulders say "who knew" and move along. If they're right, they're promote it 24/7 for weeks on end.

The Obama campaign has done a very good job with the corporate media. They knew they were in the tank for Gramps at the outset and have just let that relationship sour...the strength of Senator Obama's campaign hasn't been the media, it's been on the ground...and by the millions who see the media bias out there and each time they pull some kinda crap, it turns even more people off.

11. Right Now Most Are Watching Something Else
The corporate media has turned into a reality show...where the newsreaders and the pundits are the "stars" and the politicians and the voters are just props. They only wish we played along in their world...truth is most people couldn't care less.

You can believe them or your lying eyes.

Cheers...

12. KnR and Hey Media Hoes:
Media Hoes:

Polls??? I don't believe in these early polls...

Obama is considering offshore drilling.... perhaps it's as a ruse only....ever think of that??? He ain't really a repuke and you already know it!

Obama is doing the rope-a-dope campaign strategy...guess who the dopes in the media are.

We know WHO is playing the race card and why...we like it when the media is playing the race card...it shows us how desperate you folks are!

Keep on keepin' on.... Our next President will have to work with a larger than current DEMOCRATIC majority in Congress as well as an even larger than current DEMOCRATIC majority in the Senate. Ask yer'selves how that would work out for a mCcain presidency... Put THAT in yer repuke lovin' pipes and smoke it!

They can't figure out who will fuck up this country more, McCain or Obama, so they go out to read on forums and blogs how pissed off regular folks are about the candidates.

The media skewered Kerry in 2004 because they wanted Bush to be re-elected.
Never, ever, did I think I would ever see a discussion take place on tv about a politician's military service record that ripped at the man that had been awarded so many high medals of valor.
I was stunned and sickened at the same time.

The media is powerful in that they can control the candidate's message, they can control the amount of face time a candidate gets, or they can ignore him like they did to Kerry in 2004.
I never knew that all of these huge media conglomerates were so tied in to the military industrial complex so much before then.
They wanted the Iraq War to continue as much as the neocons.

And now over 4128 American soldiers are dead because of it.

14. So the next time I go on about:
A) Suggesting we take Gallup off our reading list or
B) Complaining about Obama's latest capitulations, i.e. offshore oil drilling

Get off my back already.

15. I am spending much less time commenting on DU & am focused on attacking McCain on MSM comments...
on a swing state newspaper site where my valid criticisms undermine McCain and the entire GOP with independents.

this story will get alot of page views

http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080803/NEWS0108/808030349/1019/EDIT

Unfortunately for Rob Portman, George W. Bush and the McCain Republicans happened. When Cheney said, "Reagan proved deficits don't matter," and the Republican controlled congress proceeded to loot the treasury, not one bill of which Bush vetoed. This Bush/GOP mess we currently find ourselves in due to the fiscal irresponsibilty of the party that only talks about fiscal responsibility

Along comes McCain 8 years later seeking the nomonation of a party controlled by Grover Norquist & their record-setting $482 billion deficit,.

McCain like Bush, is touting another round of tax cuts skewed towards those making $2.7 million and up. If there is anything that has been disproved by Bush 43 is that "trickle down economics" produces jobs, as job creation the past 7 years has been paltry.
