2. Especially when it's framed in the "Who would be better . . .

. . . qualified to lead the country on foreign policy?" I mean, one guy supported a pre-emptive war based on obvious lies, saying it would be a good thing - the other guy doubted the efficacy of a desperation move, the efficacy of which is in serious doubt to this day.

7. Kerry deserves a little more credit

He did say, as early as January 2003, that we also need "regime change at home," heavily criticizing the administrations diplomacy before the fighting began.

9. You missed my intention - I quite agree with you

Kerry also said more than a month before the war not to "rush to war" and was attacked by the Republicans as anti-war.

I was meaning that Kerry agrees with the war was a mistake - and he completely disagrees with the surge having worked.
