How many Frustrated Republicans are trapped? Cannot openly support Obama due to social pressures,
but will vote for him in the BOOTH where no one needs to really know?

I think more than 6% perhaps 10%....McLost is TOAST....

Under the Pub Bus he struggles to grasp for straws and gulps of air....

His B Team is going Neg at a Time when Neg is OUT....old tactics syndrome....

1. When you drive around the reddest part of AR and MO
and NEVER see ONE McCain sign or bumper sticker, you know he's in trouble!

3. They need to be reminded that there is no one in the voting booth
with them...not McCain, *, Rove, or Cheney. They are alone and can make a choice. More of the same or a new direction.

8. Many of the Pubs are hurting because of Bushies Misadventures
but since they are members of the Pub party, golf with other Pubs, etc, cannot openly admit their feelings...must remain subdued. Many will support Obama...some with money even....

4. Good take. I think social pressure is where we can help. It's OK to go Obama.
Social pressures are highly touted as factors for change in health behaviors. Not sure how this can be done effectively, but you've got an interesting point. Mmmmm...

13. I have talked to dozens of Republicans and have yet to find a single one that
is excited about this election. My brother, a republican, who is running for a non partisan position in the fall election simply says that McCain has no chance. He lives in a rural area that loves its guns and religion and there is no enthusiasm for him, none.

11. This is one reason for his ads
McCain is mocking the Obama supporters to prevent exactly this. Of course, honestly, he's not too worried about his own supporters crossing, he's worried about the independents. But, I'm sure he does have some concern his supporter will bleed off.
