McCain think his "The One" AD is FUNNY?
John McCain should realize there is no time for FUNNY in this years Presidential race.
With all the problems this nation faces today there should be absolutely NO FUNNY in the race. We need a serious President because we have seen what 8 years of a clown in the White House has done.

2. The right wing doesn't "do" humor.
Or nuance, or truth.

3. Well, his joke about lesbians wasn't actually funny either
Edited on Mon Aug-04-08 06:43 AM by GoesTo11
I mean his joke about the lesbians in the bar - just dumb.

His lesbian joke involving Janet Reno and the Clintons wasn't funny either. Funny how we have to actually start cataloging his lesbian jokes. We can also start cataloging his nasty names for women (how do we beat the b____, trollop, ****), and his terms for minorities (gooks, wetbacks). Goddamn it, Obama's running against Archie Bunker!

7. Not shocked so much as feeling we just can take it anymore
We need to stand up and say this is not very Presidential and uncalled for.

6. Republicans have a twisted sense of humor
McCain does that same stupid "ain't I funny grin" when he spits out the "funny line"..grins and waits for applause or laughter.....usually the laughter is of the nervous "at-him" variety..

He reminds me of the old vaudevillian comics who were still hanging on trying to do their lame schtick...long after people stopped thinking it was funny..
