George Lopez helps Obama get the Latino vote in Nevada

Comedian George Lopez is joining the effort to get out the Latino vote for Barack Obama.

Lopez spoke at a rally in Las Vegas over the weekend.

He says he wants to get Hispanic supporters to canvass their neighborhoods and register new voters.

Lopez's appearance came the same week the Obama campaign announced it and the Democratic National Committee are setting aside $20 million to target and mobilize Hispanic voters in the presidential election this fall.
