Dana Milbank, meet bus, courtesy of Keith Olbermann
Just happened on Countdown. Ironically in the Best Persons segment. Keith made it clear that all he wanted was a clarification from the "symbol" quote that included the full quote before he was let back onto the show. Milbank is stubborn about this and his free pass to Countdown has now been revoked. Good riddance Dana Milbank. All he had to do was print the FULL quote.
36. And nobody would know who Dana Milbank is had it not been for
Keith. He's not such a great writer. He doesn't get fantastic scoops. His columns are something that most people kind of glance at but don't remember who wrote them later.
he's their new commentator. He didn't leave MSNBC because Keith gave him the boot but because he got a better offer. If Dana was still on the show somehow I think that Olbermann would never have said a word. But whatever, at least he finally said it, even if it was as Milbank was out the door.
11. CNN is always on the lookout for faux dems and ....
the like to up their street cred to petty bourgeois status. You'd think they'd they'd give it up after the daily doses of cafferty and larry king they dispense on us on a daily basis.
Seriously though, thanks. I also agree with the MSM idiot pundits. They've been drinking their own Kool-Aid for so long that they don't even realize what they're doing anymore. CNN probably thought that they were just being inquisitive when they had online polls asking if Obama was patriotic enough to be President. I also caught Mike Barnicle smearing the "hard left" by painting them as out-of-touch and rigid ideologues on Hardball today when he was asking about how much backlash Obama would face on his offshore drilling compromise proposal. The way the question was worded was insane.
26. I think KO was genuinely upset by what Dana Milbank did
He obviously would have featured him on Worst Persons the day he wrote that hit piece on Obama if they hadn't been friends. I wouldn't be surprised if Keith shed a couple of tears over his decision to cut ties with Dana Milbank.
29. I understand that you hate him because of how he treated Hillary
but your post doesn't even address the points that I made. It was clear that Keith was genuinely hurt that the WaPo article came from Dana Milbank. Also, Keith Olbermann is a strong progressive voice and has been a superb leader in the push back against the atrocities of the Bush administration and other Republicans. Without his wonderful oratorical and writing skills more people would be mindless zombies convinced that FOX News is the best news network and the Bush is actually a great President.
Just trying to establish a base of knowledge. Dana Milbank was a frequent guest on Keith Olbermann's show "Countdown" on MSNBC. The best show on television for taking Republicans and Bush to task for their inept leadership.
Dana Milbank is a journalist who was a regular guest on the show until he pulled the usual kind of scummy shit the MSM does and pissed off Keith O, who has now revoked Dana's privileges
You might remember Keith Olbermann as being the guy that got himself shit-canned from ESPN and Fox Sports for being an arrogant, pompous ass. Sort of what he's doing on MSNBC right now.
Dana Milbank, though? I don't know who that is either.
