Kathy Hilton wants her donation back from McCain
I just heard this on Dan Abrams, MSNBC. So, she wants her money back. Good for Paris's mom.

7. paris backs her man, mc cain
shouldn't the real ad be paris and mcbush? after all, she is on his team and she supports him and she represents one version of the republican idea of what femininity should be -- vacuous depository (paris) (versus good girl (wife)). go, paris! take your reputation with you when you stand up for your political beliefs.

try to pass her off as liberal? please.

vacuous celebrity = republican

stop smearing us with the your own dirt and trash. gross.

it took a personal brick wall to fall on you but we all get our unique epiphanies.

I'm not saying she'll vote for Obama but at least rove was stupid enough to create this ad that mccain is proud of.

28. Yes. that Hilton
Republicans are like that, you see. I would imagine you could easily interchange her with Barbera Bush, or Cindy McCain in the same situation, and get a very similar reaction.

11. I love this. The McCain/ Celebrity advert part 2
The 'Celebrity' ad is becoming all about McCain and his exploitation for political gain of these hapless, troubled young women.

Not working out quite as planned: McShame = nasty old man.

...a public shit on my daughter after I gave him 2300 bucks, his secret service detail would be earning their money.

I'd be calling that dude out night and day on any TV show that'd have me. I'd be so far up his ass he'd be calling OJ wanting to trade me for the Goldmans.

17. Now I will applaud her
I didn't like her first statement, because it sounded like she was more concerned about McCain's strategy, than about the fact that her daughter was being used by him. I said that until she asked for her money back, she was effectively condoning his actions.

18. I heard Abrams but that's not what I thought he said
he was quoting what we've been talking about for 2 days, she's unhappy, but I've not seen that she asked for her money back.

Abrams chose his words carefully.

At least that's the way I heard it.

That's when I posted my OP. When he came back and covered the story, he didn't go back to that point. But he did say it before the commercial break.

38. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
I laugh to see how McCain supporters are outraged at being called vacuous by McCain, the senile old coot.

Better, I'm glad a message is being sent to Rovian politickers, that they just can't mindlessly smear anyone handy as a background for their smear campaigning.
