13. Someone without smarts wouldn't have been able to do it.
The whole 'offshore drilling - alternative energy' bit was too smooth.

Writers can write good stuff, but you can't deliver it, it's a train wreck.

She did pretty okay, IMO.

30. I've read at least once that she is very smart
and that she came up with a stupid personae to become "famous for being famous."

Lucille Ball looked pretty stupid on "I Love Lucy" but Lucy was a character and Lucille Ball was a good actress and sharp business woman.

It's so easy to knock Britney, Paris, and Michael Jackson for the paparazi circus freakshow that surrounds them, but who could honestly know what it would be like living in their shoes for a day - let alone a decade!

From what I've seen, she's always perfectly true to the strange media construction that she is.

No more, no less.

Besides, there's just something about her deadpan "hot" shtick that cracks me up. She definitely knows a little about comedic timing (I've seen it before), and she is.... hot.
