I honestly think that McCain will choose as his VP...
Lieberman.

They like each other. It's well known that McCain would like a Jew. And he THINKS that by putting a "Independent Dem" on the ticket that it will help him with indies. He will also think it would be a coup having as VP the 2000 Dem VP nominee.

1. I'm not sure why we even care who the OLD fart picks..

In the end, he's still the same creepy old man.

3. Nope. They would be ugly bookends. He needs someone pretty like
Mitt to compensate for his troll-like appearance.

8. Did you just call Mitt, pretty? ICK!
He likes like a used car sales man with grease slicked and phony dyed black hair.

4. Nope--I was watching Schuster this afternoon, and a guest said
that if Lieberman was chosen, there'd be "Armageddon" on the convention floor, because he's pro-choice. Did anybody else see that?

7. It would only be Armageddon for Christians, though. The rest of us
would still be rooting for that VP toilet seat.

6. He's still pro choice on abortion and liberal on too many issues
The delegates would not vote for him, there'd be a revolt.

13. Too many rumors floating about Graham's sexuality: ditto Christ.
I don't see McCain taking a chance on either of them. My money's on Romney, or maybe Huckabee as a longshot.

12. Lieberman? The same Lieberman who ran WITH Al Gore?
Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Are all these guys playing on the SAME team?

15. Could be. McCain knows he has to do something to shore himself up
or the Obama team is going to have him wrapped up and tossed out into the dumpster. McCain faces increasingly steep odds.

It could, maybe, be Joe Lieberman.

23. Nah. She's too smart for him. Loved it tonight.
First time I have ever had even the teensiest amount of respect for Paris Hilton, even knowing that wealthy and bright handlers did the whole thing.

I'm sure she had no idea until they brought it to her attention, and told her what to do. Nevertheless, she did it well.

22. Or
Ahem - Alan Keyes.

His campaign is screwed up enough. Keyes was running this election round. Yep he sure was. The wingnut ran again. Doh!

Well - a girl can hope can't she? But that's the kind of stupidity I've come to expect from the McCain campaign.
