I Heard The Other Day That WalMart Is Trying To Influence Their Employees......
to vote Repug cause they don't want unions and they are telling their employees that unions will hurt rather than help them.

Why hasn't this story been talked about more on MSM? No employer can tell their employees who to vote for or even intimidate them to vote differently then they would.

Isn't this illegal? Why hasn't more been made of this story?

1. The trouble is that once a person is in the privacy of the voting booth,
nobody knows for whom they vote but them. Nice try, no cigar. Let's hope it backfires on them.

2. Don't You Think That There Might Be Some Employees That Work For WalMart.........
that don't realize that and fear that if somehow the powers at be at their WalMart found out that they'd get fired?

I got to think that this is what WalMart is counting on - otherwise - why would they mount such a campaign?

4. Scary thought if they are so ignorant they don't know their vote is secret.
I bet they're even driving around in cars. But this goes a long way to explain why some people vote Republican.

5. Or more so, that they may not have the capacity to think in their own best interest?
That's a huge problem in general, without your employer trying to guide you.

3. "Somebody" is spending a brazillion dollars
in Louisiana bashing Unions and trying to tie them to Mary Landrieu. And I do not think I'm far off from the brazzilion mark because they have been running all day long for about a month on local TV and radio. They are typical slick right wing ads designed to tittilate the ignorant republican base (which unfortunately can be found working for Walmart.) Is this more proof that ignorance is a conservative value.

Lordy, before I finished posting this another union bashing, anti Landrieu ad ran on the TV (of course not mentioning her opponent.)
