2. Of course, the right would never blame The Responsibility President
for this because they're the "fiscally responsible" party. It's only bad when Democrats spend.

It's like the joke about the retired couple arguing in their Las Vegas hotel room:

3. As usual, Jacoby deliberately ignores the obvious
His man still wants to go out and win him some wars (he knows how--he
said so), and the cost will be paid how? If not out of the budget, then
where's that money going to come from? Cindy's petty cash? McKook's
understanding of economics remains at the same level as Bush's
understanding of the grammatical intracacies of Lithuanian (or,
apparently, still after all these years, English).
