Hillary and Bill pop up & distract just when a major shitstorm is forming around McCain's $ bundler
Edited on Thu Aug-07-08 09:41 AM by cryingshame
the story about Sergeant bundling money for McCain... and the Hess employess... is pretty damning.

It's being written about in major newrags but DU is now descending into the Clinton-drama one more time.

I slipped up yesterday and posted about Hillary. But decided the best thing is to ignore them as much as possible.

The Mediawhores want us paying attention to Hillary and Bill so I'll do the opposite.

It'd be nice if some of us could help echo the McCain donation scandal a bit.

pretty please with sugar on top

1. As usual... the Clintons and their neverending drama suck the air out of the room
...and make discussion of all other topics impossible.

It's getting REALLY hard not to hate them. They are wrecking our chances.

4. I'm guilty of playing into. Let's try and ignore them. On this, Obama's team will handle it

2. Yes--the media is trying to divide and distract us. McCain's in deep doo-doo here.

3. Yup, that and all the other issues will now be on the back burner
because of the Hillary show. I hope I am wrong

I wonder if they got a call asking for some help?

7. By the way, the same bundler (Sargeant) raised money for Hillary--
at the same time he was raising it for McShame. Sargeant was the head of the Florida Repub Party. Why would the HEAD of the FL Repubs use his connections to raise money for a DEM candidate? It makes absolutely NO sense, UNLESS Hillary and McCain were secretly on the same team...

10. Don't blame the Clintons
Were it not for that, the MSM would find something else. Something like "OBAMA: TOO MUCH TOE NAIL LINT TO LEAD?"

I have finally concluded that the MSM is in the tank for the Rethuglican Party. There are a few isolated pockets of resistance (mostly on MSNBC these days) but they are maintained solely to keep up appearances and attract ratings from hopeful liberals and centrists.

12. I second that! Don't blame the Clintons..........
The media has learned how to play the Obama supporters that hate the Clintons like a fiddle. The more reasonable Obama supporters (myself included :hi:) seem to be able to see through the smokescreen and stay focused on what's really important.

11. There have been several stories about "kidnapped little girls"
today in the media. In the past such items seemed to be distracting from whatever the administration was trying to cover-up. In this case, I'm not sure what they want covered up for a day or two.

15. Their names are the first three words in your OP that warns about them being a distraction.
Of course, there's a way to say "Let's not get bogged down in VP discussions, there's a brewing McCain scandal over here."

Right now, the Clintons are a red-meat topic on DU. And the more their names are in the headlines here, the more posts we'll see about them.
