politcians in history. No one gives a better speech than Bill No one. He is legendary.

21. Clinton is renowned throughout the world for his speaking skills. Even the GOP admit that.
They were scared S***less whenever Bill went to the people. He is a brilliant speaker and truly charismatic. That is why he generates such fear in the GOP. Have you ever seen him speak, or met him?My god , he is phenomenal. No one matches him. No one. And the GOP just hates it. That was why he left with a huge approval rating even when they impeached him. This is just common knowledge.

33. Not so. And unlike some, he doesn't "need' a teleprompter and thinks fast on his feet.
And yes, he is great "off the cuff' as well. Because he actually "knows" what he is talking about.

doesn't know what he's talking about and needs a teleprompter?

Wow. And still he managed defeat Clinton and make it through 21 debates with her. Makes him all the more impressive.

29. You actually think he gets paid so much because they
like the way he speaks?

He gets paid that much because he's a former President and has connections and influence and people want to be associated with that. That's what they're paying for.

I bet you believe that Mr. Guistra gave the Clinton Presidential Library $100 million for his because he's a fan of U.S. presidential history?

24. That's simply not true.
I've never been a Clinton fan, but I know a good speaker when I hear one.

Obama is also a great speaker. I don't like his politics much, but I acknowledge that he's an accomplished speaker.

Is that the problem? You're afraid his greatest, perhaps his only, strength will be upstaged by another great speaker who was able to parlay that same strength into two terms in the White House?

I don't think so. Especially since the party is obviously not unified; if Clinton can help bring in some reluctant Democrats, that's good for Obama.

My opinion has nothing to do with Obama. Bill Clinton has many strengths Obama doesn't have and vice versa.

37. That part I can agree with.
Boring, of course, is just that; an opinion. What is boring to one is not to another. I, for one, have yet to find a single word out of Obama's lips (or Clinton's, for that matter,) to be at all "inspiring." Obviously, many others have a different response, and therefore a different opinion.

I don't have to like a politician to recognize his strengths. Speaking skills are a strength for Bill Clinton, as they are for Obama. I recognize that, even if I'm not impressed by what they have to say.

5. Maybe they will stop the rumor mill stuff through the media
I still believe the right wing press coverage who listed stuff Bill wants Obama to do before Bill fully supports Obama.

If this is what they feel like they need to do in order to have an impact, then I can't wait to see the wood shed they will occupy when God willing Obama actually wins. You can only cry wolf so many times especially when you consider 'respect' means power sharing.

I'm tired of them. We've got bigger, more corrupt fish to fry.

19. He should speak...for all his Flaws he was the only Two Term Elected Dem since FDR...
for all his flaws...he wasn't Bush I or II...that he probably continued Reagan's programs and was a DLC'er...that's because he was "of his time." And for those of us who voted for him...we thought the DLC was what many of you think the new OBAMA Program is.

I will be glad to hear him speak. Our Dems never honor our formers...we trash them..throw them under the Bus. Those Damned Repugs would have had NIXON speak...if they weren't afraid because there were some REAL PROGRESSIVES at that time that would have eaten their asses if they tried. But, they always honor their EVIL...and they've had so many since Nixon. :puke:
