Any guesses as to who will be the Keynote Speaker at the Democratic Convention?
I think a new fresh face--like Obama in 2004--- would be good.

2. I don't believe she is to be the Keynote Speaker.
I thought she was getting the second night, and don't keynoters start the ball rolling the first night?

4. Gore Vidal
I was hoping Gore Vidal because it would be a wonderful tribute and I think magically historic.

5. Ted Kennedy would be great, if his health permits.
That would be a tremendous moment.

6. Yes it would, but it doesn't sound like he will be able to make it.

9. No, not Hagel. He will
be out of the country for both conventions http://www.action3news.com/Global/story.asp?S=8809176&nav=menu550_2

Senator Hagel says, don't believe everything you hear. "No," he says. "No, I'm going to be out of the country actually. I'll be taking a trip to Latin America, so I won't be around for the convention."

Don't expect to see Hagel at the Republican National Convention, either. He will still be out of the country when the GOP meets in Minnesota.

10. I think the trend to stay win a fresh face would be good
Perhaps one of the US Senate Democrats, especially one who is a strong challenger. There are a number of people who fit into that category.
