today hillary clinton took questions and gave answers to people sending questions through her blog
i am seeing a lot of energy being spent on the subject of the clintons
those who know me know i am not now a fan of senator clinton
but if we are going to be getting all bunched in our collective panties we should hear wht her actual latest statements on some subjects have been

Hey Hillary you are such a great person I went to a rally of yours during the primary in New Hampshire & did some campaigning for you here in albany ny you put a smile on my face every time I saw you whether in person or on tv. You are a strong women don't give up keep fighting for whats right. I hope our country can take a new step in the right direction once Barack Obama is president. I want to say if he does ask you to be his VP you should and you would make a great vice president Mrs. Clinton

Answer:

I have said repeatedly that I will do whatever Senator Obama asks me to do. I am really focused and enjoying being back in the Senate and working on behalf of my New York constituents. This is Senator Obama’s decision and his alone and I am going to respect the privacy of that process by not discussing it.

Answer: Let me first say, I am so grateful for all the support that I have received. To answer your question, I am completely committed to helping Senator Obama become the next President of the United States and urging all of you to do the same. We share a commitment to universal healthcare, bringing an end to the war in Iraq, and getting back to an economy that works for working families again. I believe so strongly that if we want to see real progress in our country and finally break away from the failed policies of the past eight years, we need a Democrat in the White House. I am going to continue to do whatever I can to help Senator Obama and Democrats across the country win in the November.

Answer: I know that there have been a lot of questions on this subject. Senator Obama and I share the goal of ensuring that the voices of everyone who participated in this historic process are respected. I want to assure everyone we are working together with Senator Obama's campaign and the DNC, and I am confident we will have a successful and unified Convention in Denver.

I think she is doing what she can but wouldn't shed any tears if Obama self imploded. I also think there are still hurt feelings- which is understandable.

Usually, the people are in advance of their leaders, but in this matter it seems as if some of the people are the ones lagging behind the curve....

I had wanted to participate, but I had a meeting at that time. Hillary is as great and classy as usual.

He was shrieking PISSED off, and enabled his callers to float right over the falls with him. The consensus seemed to be that Obama supporters are, gasp, still demanding that everyone kiss Barack's and their collective asses. The words need be heard to their ears just as they would have them heard...or they will tear every wound open anew and oozing. But as these layer after layer of onion are peeled away, the resultant may indicate that they just want it all simply handed to them with few, slight other questions and demeanors not approved in advance.

The bush family is already in China visiting their next round of investments, as the handmaiden' of Chinese oligarchs. The nation remains dangerously split. The union is in peril. There are too many lawyers being lawyerly, seeking to pass as common people they muddy the water with their august, silver tipped tongues. Dems are ignoring each other. In great measure, DU remains split and too many are proud of having torn the chasm seen clearly; that has taken people down...and into it. Yay for our side!

I think the Clinton' will be there when they need to be. But they're not good ass kissers, 'sides...

Kissing ass and kow towing aren't long term substitutes for unity imo

If it goes against their beliefs then ABC is the second evil. All the shenanigans about the Clintons on DU was giving me a migraine. I'm no fan of the Clintons, but when there's a lot of hearsay from a source that is NORMALLY unreliable...I'd sooner expect to believe that Santa Clause showing up with a naked Fabio on my door step.
