5. I did
:D Hopefully Obama does too. Feingold was probably my top choice if he would have run this cycle. Having him as VP would be terrific.

10. Is this a 'want' or 'predict' poll?
Edited on Fri Aug-08-08 10:59 AM by TahitiNut
Want? A liberal like Feingold.

Predict? (God help me.) There are 2 names on there that'd make it REALLY difficult to even cast a vote. I probably wouldn't.

15. DU is a funny site isn't it?
Bayh runs at almost parity with Hillary, but gets 1 vote when other candidates are there.

You seem like such a reliable democrat. You really wouldn't vote if 2 of them were on the ticket? Which 2? Bayh and who else?

22. I'm a unabashed liberal (small-d) democrat ...an independent.
I cannot and will not compromise my 'loyalty' to values and principles with some partisan affiliation that would require I support someone who acted CONTRARY to those values and principles.

Insofar as "which two" ... I think that should be obvious. As a dedicated liberal (who doesn't hide behind such cowardly terms as "progressive"), I'm NOT inclined to offer my active support (or vote) for any "lesser evil" ... no matter what they call themselves (DLC or GOP). At the same time, I won't act in ways to support the 'greater evil' either.

11. In an ideal world Feingold would be wonderful
Have you noticed we do not live in an ideal world? It's not going to happen, and I don't think it should.

16. how about none of the above.
Sebulius would be the best pick, although I can understand why they might keep it under the radar.
