The Atlantic - If Abdullah had donated to Obama...
Just Asking...

08 Aug 2008 10:55 am

If there were a group of questionable donations all with the name Abdullah
that were funneled through a guy in Jordan

who is a Jordanian national
who is under investigation for war profiteering
and it were Barack Obama
instead of John McCain
would this be a bigger deal?

9. I hear you.. I am heart broken for Elizabeth Edwards
And the republicons had better watch their p's and q's and not jump too ugly with this, because it gives us open season to dig up McCains treatment and affair on his first wife. I am so so glad Obama is on vacation, because if we need to get ugly with this if it gets pushed by bringing that old history of McCains back to the press, he is out of the loop.

8. OMG - I can't imagine that scenario.
Right wingers would be demanding Barack be spirited away to Gitmo. Coverage would be 24/7 and the Obama campaign would be toast. McBush, for whatever reason, continues to get a pass.

13. Exactly - There have been so many things Johnny Boy gets away with - Just like W!
Comes from the same spoiled silver spoon mentality - Do you really think John could have gotten in West Point if he didn't have a daddy who was an Admiral? And Obama made it to Harvard Law School without a Dad to help him out!
