As a former Edwards supporters, I'm depressed for the Edwards family.

This personal issue is being made a media circus.

Elizabeth doesn't deserve this horrifying and embarassing situation broadcast for millions to see. John is a private citizen now, and it's sickening that the media is taking his personal life and broadcasting it for the world to see. And those poor kids, having to face their friends and peers knowing the world knows about their families personal business.

I really feel for all of them. It's obvious John Edwards is a good man, but did a very bad thing. And I hope Elizabeth and the Edwards family can and will forgive him.

This is a little depressing for me, and I worry for the Edwards family.

Seriously, I apologize if it seemed like I was making a personal attack against you. I was not. I got a little heated after reading some of the posts about the Edwards scandal; it was a good thing I took a break for a bit, went out and had dinner.

It's not fair of me to tell people how they should feel regarding this situation. I was just reading some responses and some made it sound like Edwards personally offended them, and them alone. Yes, they could be upset but, again, and this is the part that's sketchy, it's not about *you*, not you, people in general.


Let's get a grip and realize that what Edwards did is most offensive to his wife and family. For those who are upset that he took money from the campaign to pay for this woman's job, well that's the risk you take when you DONATE...and that's exactly what it is a donation; a gift. Maybe I don't take politicians as seriously as some here do. I am not the least bit surprised that this was revealed.

I was a diehard Edwards supporter and he has fucked up big time. His eldest daughter lost her brother, his wife lost a son...and he is a public figure that knew he was in danger of getting caught.

I hate him now. And I'm furious.

She is strong.
