And they come out with some wild shit all of the time.

This doesn't help the quest for ignoring Tabloid news. :(

1. Well, it must be Friday, as we got "dumped" on, big time.
I feel sorry for Elizabeth and the kids. Damn!

I also hate it when the Repigs have something to be gleeful about. They will milk this for all it's worth and for as long as it brings a reaction.

I think I'll go pull weeds and skip the news tonight.

Other than that, you're right.

4. their stories are usually correct...they have to be because
they do not want to lose lawsuits.

Another reason that they don't get sued more often is that celebrities often have their PR people plant stories with the National Enquirer to generate publicity.

5. A friend works for the National Enquirer. She told me...
...that the "paper's" policy is set in stone: stories they run about living, breathing, people (those that can pick up the phone and call a lawyer) are heavily researched and verified, and are therefore true 99% of the time. Stories about dead people, aliens, crystals, pyramids and anything that can't sue are largely made up.

6. I used to work on a top TV sitcom...and I assure you...
The National Enquirer CAN be much more reliable than AP.
