This is rich though... The guy they never mentioned can now derail the Democratic party
somehow?

Is anyone watching the stream of concern trolls on MSNBC talk about how the Edwards' revelation might damage the entire Democratic party?

14. That's actually funny. Edwards wasn't fucking Obama.
and Obama wasn't fucking Rielle Hunter.

3. I agree with you on that one...
they did write the guy off, belittled him, and stated time and again he was of no significance during the start of the primaries. Now he's the guy who's going to take the whole thing down :eyes:

4. Let them try it; there are enough criminals, deviants, immoral people
in the rethug party to throw this shit back on, starting with a candidate for prez, McInsane.

If they choose to keep bringing it up, I don't see the Dems going quietly into that night.

5. I'm telling everyone that anyone who supports McCain now is a hypocrite
if they're complaining about Edwards. It shut some people up real fast.

7. Contact MSNBC and tell them you want full coverage on this story.
Tell them you want to hear all about John McCain's affair with Cindy when he deserted his crippled wife and children.

Write to them and DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY AND FULL TRANSPARENCY!

8. Okay, it's time then to ask if McCain's cheating on his first wife with his current wife damages his
party.

16. Most of American doesn't even know who Edwards is....
Thanks to the mass corporate media.

So I wouldn't worry about that.

11. This is no way derails our party or Senator Obama.
It derails John Edwards and John Edwards only.
Anyone who says otherwise is a Republican.
(And we all know how faithful THEY are)

12. McCain had an affair. Just FYI.
Edwards is irrelevant unless he can damage McCain. Keep your eye on the prize.

And fuck John McCain.

13. if that were true, McCain wouldn't be their candidate either- especially
since he himself committed adultery on more than one occasion, and left his injured wife and children behind for a Rodeo Queen.

Hypocrites

17. I agree. Linking this to our chances in Nov. is puzzling
to me. No relevance. Edwards is not VP. He's not even speaking at the convention.

18. And he doesn't hold any office either.
David Schuster actually asked the reporter he was interviewing (presumably the National Enquirer dude, but I was hearing it from the other room), "Since Edwards is no longer an elected Democrat and holds no particular post in the party, why are you continuing to go after this story?" (Paraphrased).

I can't recall the answer, but it was along the lines of, "cuz we want to."
