4. How do Republicans "vet" their candidates?
Do they check to see if they've committed a requisite number of crimes, or do they check for specific kinds of criminal activity? Does a candidate get more credit for graft and white collar crime, less for common crimes like rape and murder? Or is it like becoming a "made" mob member?

Seriously, these people have no standards or morals, what could they possibly be "vetting" someone for?

10. The vet probably checks them for ringworms and rabies, then
gives them a good flea bath.

16. *snicker*
If so, it could be a LONG time with Joementum, just finding someone willing to do those exams...

7. I've said this for some time
He is one of McCain's biggest supporters and friends and the campaign wants a Jew. Yes, he may not be acceptable to the far right (though I don't think they will be too upset) and InSane thinks that Lieberman could help with indies which he needs to win--this i'm not sure about.

17. McCain's Repub Base Would Openly Revolt Against Him
if made such a move. My guess is that he's trying to capture disaffected Clinton voters who are still on the fence with Obama.

However, this move would destroy his candidacy amongst his base who already hate him.

25. This is designed to appeal to those Zionist right wing fundamentalists evangelicals
who might believe that having Liarberman as VP would facilitate the "Rapture". McCain does have problems with these nutcases.

I always felt he was a possable VP choice for Mccain. If It happens expect him to try to attack Obama
as Poor judgement,Inexcepernce,and too partisan.

28. I'd love to see Willie Tanner face a distinguished person in the debates
Could you imagine Joementum having to take on Sebelius or Graham or Richardson in the V.P. debates.

Hopefully, none of them would let him interrupt them at every turn.
