McCain the Antichrist?

Biblical scholars in Colorado Springs have uncovered startling evidence that Senator John McCain may be the Antichrist. Their conclusions, while highly controversial, may have a dramatic impact on the 2008 elections, since many Bible-believing Christians have already expressed doubts about McCain’s fealty to Christianity.

The analysis was conducted by the respected True Bible Society, and it will be published next month in the End Times Journal.

The analysis was especially ironic, given that it came out just one day after McCain was accused of subtly hinting that Barack Obama could be the Antichrist. McCain ran a commercial depicting Obama as “The One,” giving rise to charges that he was sending a subliminal messages to anti-Obama Christians.

“What started us looking at this issue is the fact that Senator McCain has declared his intention to maintain US forces in Iraq for a hundred years,” said David Jenkins, a leading Biblical scholar. “That means that McCain wants to control Babylon for at least a century.” According to many scholars of the Book of Revelation, the Antichrist will try to rebuild the ancient city of Babylon in order to use it as a springboard for an international effort at world domination. Ultimately, the Antichrist will marshal forces from Babylon to spark a showdown with Christian and Jewish-led forces in the battle of Armageddon.

“We believe that the End Times is near, based on the pattern of wars, earthquakes. and other strange phenomena we’ve been witnessing since the start of the New Millennium,” said Jenkins. “Given that it may be imminent, the person who controls Babylon must be the Antichrist.” Until 2003, many Christians believed that Saddam Hussein might be the Antichrist, since he started excavations to restore Babylon in the mid 1970s. But Hussein’s death meant that the Antichrist is someone else. Since Obama wants to get out of Iraq, he can’t be the Antichrist either, concluded Jenkins.

McCain's campaign is an exercise in bitterness, locked in a past century and ill-equipped to deal with emerging realities.

The name McCain means son of Cain. In Genesis, Cain murdered his brother Abel and was cast out.

McCain also wants to form a "League of Democracies". This seems like the perfect organization from which he can rule the world and enforce control.

He is a big supporter of the Real ID program. All it needs is a common mark like 666 and you have the mark of the beast.

Give me a little while longer and I can think of several more items relating him to the Antichrist. That's the thing about using Revelations for talking Armageddon. It's so cryptic that you can relate it to anything or anyone. I tend to believe the biblical scholars who say it's actually a coded message regarding the Roman empire of that time.

it sounds exactly like "sdneirf ym" which according to the ancient scholars translates roughly as "you fools all your vote belongs to us" and the Antichrist is going to be saying it over and over again, except he'll be saying it backwards. I don't think this is just a coincidence.

I also have a strong suspicion that the mole they removed might have been a horn growing out of his head.

If you were a 90 year old guy seeing that in a vision some two thousand years ago, how would you describe that?

Of course the Antichrist is eventually supposed to rule his world empire from the rebuilt Babylon. Iraq doesn't seem too likely for a potential "world capitol" right now, but if McCain won and the US economy completely collapsed, I could definitely see Dubai (with all the crazy shit going on there even now) as being the type of place the Antichrist would love to chill in. And if he's literally Satan's son, he wouldn't even need air conditioning. :evilgrin:

Dubya and Cheney. It is yet to be proven if Darth Cheney is merely another ultra powerful Sith Lord or if he is also actually the Anti-Christ, who I was lead to believe would have some charisma. This would instantly preclude both Lord Cheney and the puppet McSame.
