Veep choice Clue here:
Is going to be who Obama says it is going to be.

Apart from that, Halperin and others have no clue. They are just guessing.

Whomever it is, I will be quite pleased I'm sure, period.

1. I agree. Some are more exciting than others to me, but that could
be just because I know more about some than others.

I'm hoping for a rock star though. And there are only a few that would fill that bill.

4. Why spyche ourselves out......?
We really don't have any clues.

I have preferences perhaps, but I'm not going to set myself up.

9. FC, I'm totally hopeless today. Once again this is an issue that
I'm all over the board with. One minute I'm sure it's Wes. The next minute I think it would be just grand if Al decided to be his running mate. And then, I have a soft spot for Richardson, too. Can't help it. He's a fellow westerner.

My favorites in no particular order, since it changes by the minute:

Clark
Gore
Richardson
Biden
Schweitzer to get the gun vote. And yes, I'm pandering.

My way, way outside chance: Napolitano. Just cause I'd love to kick McCain's ass right in his own damned state.

11. Well, we have some clues... enigmatic as they may be

He has made some statements about the qualities he is looking for in a running mate

I just picked the one I think would be best and am sticking with him. If I am wrong it is OK, I will still support whoever is picked. If I am right I can gloat a little bit. No biggie.

8. You said it.
And my only prognostication is going to be that most of us will be surprised at who is chosen. I suspect it won't be anyone we've all been talking about. And I really doubt anyone will have to say,"Oh, NO! Not Him/Her!" Instead I bet we'll mostly go, "Oh, yeah, what a good choice."

And seriously, no one who is truly a reasonable candidate for the VP slot is going to be someone we'll have to swallow hard to vote for.
